Following an 11-7 record in conference play, the Stony Brook Seawolves headed to West Hartford, Connecticut to compete in the America East Softball Tournament (May 8-11) as the No.3 seed.
The Seawolves executed a calculated play which saw junior attacker Connor Grippe sneak inside the Bulldogs defense for the wide open scoring attempt. However, freshman goalkeeper Luke Caracciolo read the play perfectly and blocked the shot, keeping the score tied.
Stony Brook Women’s Soccer picked up its first conference win of the season in convincing fashion over UMass Lowell at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium Thursday night.
