The West Side Dining convenience store is more than tripling in size as it undergoes a major renovation but is not expected to open until the Spring semester.
This semester, I moved off campus. I did it to save money and because I only have classes 2 days a week. I mean no disrespect to the living spaces and people who utilize them on campus. Moving off campus, though, is a great decision.
It’s a lot sexier to take to a podium and tell the world “we built a fancy new dorm,” than it is to say “we fixed the plumbing.” There’s no ribbon-cutting ceremony for fixing the pipes.
It’s a small gesture, but keep throwing your pocket pennies and found change from the dryer in there and you’ll have a free Bagel Express meal in no time.
