After leading the Stony Brook men’s lacrosse team and America East conference with 34 goals this season, redshirt freshman attackman Dylan Pallonetti made league history as he won the Rookie of the Year and the Offensive Player of the Year award.
On Sunday the Stony Brook wrestling club came away with a 31-18 win against Cortland. The Seawolves had the chance to wrestle at nearby Ward Melville High School, and put together one of their strongest efforts of the season.
Last weekend, the Stony Brook wrestling club had the chance to compete against some of the nation’s best teams in the National Wrestling Collegiate Association National Duals event in Dalton, Georgia. The No. 21 Seawolves picked up wins in two out of their six matchups, and finished 15th out of 24 teams in the tournament.
