The USG Senate discussion regarding tobacco came in the midst of a SUNY-wide effort to ban tobacco use, including smoking and chewing tobacco, on all SUNY campuses.
With the opening of the new lawmaking session in Albany this month, legislation banning tobacco on State University of New York campuses can again be taken up for vote.
