The Stony Brook University Police Department (UPD) has identified a suspect behind the April 18 burglary reported at the Staller Center for the Arts, according to an email sent to the campus community around 4:44 p.m. on Sunday, April 29.
The new “ID Card Replacement Policy” will allow Stony Brook University students, faculty and staff members who would like to change their legal names on campus ID cards due to transitioning purposes, to obtain new ones.
A steam leak in the Administration Building caused an electrical interference that resulted in a blackout across main campus on Friday, Sept. 1, Assistant Chief of Police Eric Olsen said. The blackout started at 12:20 a.m. and lasting an hour.
The University Senate passed a resolution on Feb. 6 calling on Stony Brook University’s administration to adopt several policies aimed at protecting university community members who are undocumented immigrants.
