Coming off one of its most disappointing years ever, the Stony Brook baseball team is looking to get the bad taste out of its mouth. After finishing last season 23-29 overall and 14-16 in Colonial — now Coastal — Athletic Association (CAA) play, the Seawolves suffered even more losses in the offseason.

A new season for Stony Brook Women’s Soccer marks the dawn of a new era for the program. Coach Brendan Faherty takes over the program after 31 seasons under Sue Ryan.

Following the conclusion of the 2015 season, longtime Stony Brook Women’s Soccer head coach Sue Ryan was relieved of her duties. Brendan Faherty will replace her.
