In a dogfight that ended with 27 total shots taken, the Stony Brook women’s soccer team was not able to take advantage of the opportunities given to them and fell to the Boston University (BU) Terriers 2-0 in a road affair on Wednesday night, Sept. 25.
The Stony Brook women’s soccer team increased their season opening win streak to three games as they defeated the University of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens on Friday, Aug. 27 by a score of 2-1.
As the clock ran out in the second half, the Stony Brook Women’s Soccer team’s playoff hopes ran out as well, leaving an aura of emptiness that filled LaValle Stadium.
