The Stony Brook baseball team clinched the America East regular season title and home field advantage during playoffs after winning two of three games against the UMBC Retrievers over the weekend.
Yeboah tied the game late in the second half after making all three of his free throws after getting fouled on a three-point attempt. Vermont responded with a 15-6 run over the final five minutes to seal Stony Brook’s fate.
Stony Brook Baseball won its fifth America East Championship on Saturday night, defeating the UMBC Retrievers 16-11 at LeLacheur Park in Lowell, Massachusetts.
