Still looking to regain its pre-break momentum, the Stony Brook men’s basketball team snapped a 3-game losing streak in the latter half of a road weekend series with the NJIT Highlanders in Newark on Jan. 23 and 24.
The Stony Brook men’s basketball team was scheduled to open its season against the Bryant Bulldogs on Wednesday, Nov. 25, but the game was scrapped on early Wednesday morning after a referee reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
On Thursday, Nov. 5, Stony Brook released its America East conference schedule for seven sports set to play in the spring: baseball, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, softball and volleyball.
The America East Board of Presidents elected the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Highlanders as the 10th member of the conference on Friday, June 12, with their membership effective July 1.
