The season came to a close on Monday night for the Stony Brook Hockey team, as Iowa State defeated the Seawolves, 2-1, in the semifinals of the ACHA National Tournament.
Stony Brook will compete as the top seed in the ESCHL playoffs next weekend at Lehigh Valley College, a tournament the team has won in back-to-back seasons.
While the Stony Brook men’s and women’s basketball teams have had some ups and downs in their campaigns, the Seawolves on the ice have maintained a high level of play throughout their entire season.
