The Seawolves steamrolled the UMass Lowell River Hawks by a final score of 89-69 on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, coming out on top for the 19th time in a row.
A 10-point lead with eight and a half minutes remaining had disintegrated, but the Seawolves came out on top 84-76 against the UMass Lowell River Hawks at the Tsongas Center.
The Seawolves entered the game looking to avenge last March’s improbable homecourt upset in the America East Tournament. They left inexplicably stunned again by a team that has been consistently ranked as one of the worst in Division I over the past decade.
