I’m a recent alumnus who values integrity above all. While I was a student, this core value led me to get involved in improving the Stony Brook community and it resulted in the SUNY Chancellor awarding me the Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence this past spring.
Major proposed changes to the USG constitution include abolishing the judiciary branch, changing student representation in the senate and eliminating required office hours for USG members.
This past Thursday, Stony Brook’s Undergraduate Student Government held its first Senate meeting of the semester, introducing new officials and making a notable announcement about outdoor concerts.
