On Wednesday, Oct. 25, Stony Brook University hosted award-winning journalist and author Jeff Goodell to discuss climate change in the school’s presidential lecture series. President Maurie McInnis hosted the discussion in which the two discussed Goodell’s work in documenting climate change.

SBU Receives Highest SUNY Ranking in History

According to the most recent US News and World Report, Stony Brook University has received its highest rankings to date in State University of New York (SUNY) history. Stony Brook has not only held its ranking as the No. 1 public university in New York but it also stands at No. 58 among national universities and No. 26 among public universities.
