Argentinian artist Luciano Garbati unveiled his sculpture “Medusa with the Head of Perseus” in Manhattan’s Collect Pond Park on Tuesday, October 13. The statue is part of the Art in the Parks Program and will remain in the park until April 2021.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art reopened its doors to the public on Aug. 29. The museum had been closed since Mar. 13, a day after Mayor Bill de Blasio declared New York City a state of emergency, amidst the surging coronavirus cases.
