The Undergraduate Student Government senators debated changing the size of the Elections Board and impeached former Elections Board member Malik Archer.
SBU needs the fee because it funds the clubs/organizations and events that make SBU what it is. It provides support to organizations that bring the community together.
Three members of USG will attend next week’s State University of New York Student Assembly Conference, the USG Senate confirmed in its meeting Thursday night.
Concerns about the Elections Board were brought up at the most recent USG meeting, where it was revealed Elections Board members were never actually confirmed by the Senate.
The USG Senate passed the USG Logo and Seal Act of 2015, which removes the use of the USG seal and proposes changes to the USG logo, at its meeting on Thursday evening.
