Turning Point USA has been officially recognized as an organization on campus, despite the Stony Brook Progressive Coalition’s online petition to bar the chapter from being recognized by the University.
The candidates for the Executive Council of Stony Brook University’s Undergraduate Student Government debated their platforms on March 26. Elections started on SBEngaged on March 29 and will be held until April 2 at noon.
Due to the financial situation of the student body brought upon by COVID-19, USG is giving undergraduate students the option to vote on the SAF being optional or mandatory.
The Undergraduate Student Government revised part of the Financial Bylaws at last week’s meeting in order to make it easier for clubs to host guest speakers.
