#OPINION: I do not think SBU is tough for arts and humanities majors in terms of STEM bias. I think we can network and fit in using our classes, clubs, apps or the internet.
Over the course of the last three months, I have been looking into an issue that needs to be brought up as it affects many students at Stony Brook University (SBU): the guest policy.
Project Adventure Challenge Course is mentally and physically demanding, and aims to improve the academic and social lives of participants through team building and low rope elements.
Take the initiative to get involved and so many amazing doors will open. The realization of the truth of student life at Stony Brook will make you proud to say “I’m a Seawolf.”
I did not care much for the Kaku lectures simply due to my tendency to enjoy the social sciences, however I am finding myself overwhelmed with anticipation for Brookfest. That is why, upon finding out that some students who are in BIO 202 will be unable to attend Brookfest, I became outraged. Discovering that some students taking an Organic Chemistry midterm were unable to attend the Kaku lecture only furthered my anger.
