The baseball team has turned from one with an offense that would have to secure every victory to one that is balanced and determined to make some noise.
The softball team came away with a pair of wins this Sunday, as the Seawolves blew past both Morgan State in a 15-0 shutout and Mount St. Mary’s in a 3-2, eight-inning bout.
The Stony Brook softball team kicked off its 2015 season this past weekend in the Florida Gulf Coast Tournament. The Seawolves picked up wins in two out of their five games.
Elizabeth Snow’s off-the-bat ball kept going until it ended up over the fence, breaking the hearts of the Stony Brook faithful and sending the Albany section into eruption.
“Our goal all season has been to repeat, which is tough to do in any sport, at any level,” coach Megan Bryant said on Thursday after her team’s opener against UMBC.
