The Suffolk County government approved Legislator Jay Schneiderman’s proposal for SoMAS to conduct research on the cooling systems used at Millstone Nuclear Facility.
At a Tuesday, Sept. 9 meeting, the Suffolk County Legislature unanimously passed a bill that would create a task force to address the issue of coastal erosion on the North Shore of Long Island.
