Brown’s swift offensive tempo didn’t let up, as the team scored four straight and outscored Stony Brook 4-1 in the second period. Stony Brook’s defense failed to control the tempo for a large portion of the first half, allowing a total of 25 shots.

Capping off a productive weekend, Stony Brook Women’s Soccer was firing on all cylinders in its 3-0 win over Wagner Sunday afternoon at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.
“[It] was just a pure hustle goal by four or five guys,” head coach Jim Nagle said. “Bodies flying everywhere… those are the kind of plays that can spark a team.”
