The New Jersey native became the first Stony Brook Men’s Basketball member to play in the NBA when the Dallas Mavericks signed him to a 10-day contract on Sunday, March 11.
Starting Monday, Jameel Warney will take part in the Mavericks’ training camp. Warney played for the team in the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League in early July, later signing a partially-guaranteed contract on July 26.
