Stony Brook University will continue its hybrid approach to classes throughout the winter and spring semesters. The spring semester was delayed by one week to start on Feb. 1. There will not be a spring break.
The President’s Office started taking open nominations for the presidential search committee. The announcement was sent in an email on Friday, July 12 at 1 p.m.
After founding and leading the School of Journalism for 12 years, the 72-year-old announced that this semester would be his last as dean in a Sept. 26 email sent out to the school’s 221 students.
Before I entered college, I thought, “Hey, I’ll study hard, have some fun and graduate in five years with my two degrees.” However, by Spring 2017, my college experience became one any student would have just wanted to end.
