Stony Brook University will continue its hybrid approach to classes throughout the winter and spring semesters. The spring semester was delayed by one week to start on Feb. 1. There will not be a spring break.
Final decisions regarding the fall semester are still unknown since guidance is dependent on the public health situation. “If it is safe to do so, it remains our intention to resume some on-campus learning and activities in the fall,” McInnis said.
According to the Center for Prevention and Outreach website, simple activities such as coloring, connecting with your peers, exercise, DIY crafts, meditation and healthy eating can increase your overall mental health.
