Stony Brook art professor Nobuho Nagasawa opened an interactive art exhibition about the cycle of life and the unprecedented challenges of the coronavirus pandemic at the Westwood Gallery in the Bowery District of New York City on Aug. 19.
Michael Manning, a senior studio arts major at Stony Brook University, and art professor Nobuho Nagasawa, were both named the winners of a recycling sculpture design competition recently hosted by Port Jefferson Village.
On Tuesday, Nov. 11, Stony Brook professor Nobuho Nagasawa of the Department of Art unveiled her latest art project, titled “Emotional Treasures, Emotional Revelations: Socially Engaged Art Project,” in the Central Reading Room of the Frank Melville Jr. Memorial Library.
The Faculty Exhibition at the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery opened on Wednesday, Oct. 17 with a variety of media and works of art from faculty members who are also recognized international artists.
