Stony Brook women’s basketball upset in conference opener

Stony Brook's women's basketball team (9-2, 0-1 AE) struggled in the first quarter, missing their first eight shots and falling behind 16-4, and they trailed the rest of the way to lose their conference opener 54-49 on the road Thursday.
