Unwelcome snow leaves students storming mad
It was a surprise to everyone to wake up to an unwarranted winter wonderland. Mother Nature pulled the ultimate April Fool’s joke a day early, smothering the dreams of warm weather with slushy, slippery snow. I slipped once from my way back from the gym at 8:30 a.m., which was just enough times to dissuade me from the thought of attending classes.
Female masturbation is not a myth
When you sit in history class and study the past, it is easily understood that people’s mindsets have progressed. We are more open to cultural differences, other races and are becoming (slowly) adapted to different sexualities as a whole. But all of this gets thrown right out the window when it comes to masturbation.
Roth Market: keepin’ it fresh
Last Monday, FSA opened up Roth Market Fresh at the Roth Food Court. This new facility replaces the home market from previous years, which served an array of different foods from mashed potatoes and chicken to burritos and kabobs. Instead of those offerings, Roth Fresh contains a variety of raw meat and fish. Students can choose from several options and have their cut of meat be grilled, baked, or sautéed, and then choose up to two sides to go along with it.
USG planned events show a new level of student consideration
When it comes to USG, I tend to care a little bit more, because what they do affects how my campus experience is and how much I shell out to pay for tuition.
There is more to life than the pre-med track
There is a whole other world of studies on campus that a lot of us do not pay attention to. We all take Writing 102 and then some required DECs, and forget that there is more to our education than just organic chemistry.
