Stony Brook University has paused distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to students and employees due to concerns about potential negative side effects.
Stony Brook students received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine on the first day of expanded eligibility at the Student Union on April 6. About 1,400 students were able to get vaccinated, which is 30% of the residents on campus.
Stony Brook University turned its student union into a vaccine Point of Distribution (POD) on Tuesday, April 6. Students received their first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and will receive their second dose on May 4.
