Women’s Volleyball cruises past UMass

Stony Brook’s Women’s Volleyball team improved to 15-14 with their impressive win over UMass. They are now 8-3 in their conference and have a chance to clinch a berth in the American East Championship on Sunday, when they play New Hampshire. The Seawolves are 8-1 against UMass all-time and now have their best in conference record through 11 games since 2007.

Tuesday night, the Stony Brook Seawolves Women’s Volleyball team (14-14, 7-3 AE) dominated the Pioneers of Sacred Heart University in straight sets 3-0 (27-25, 25-19, 25-20). This win finished a four game home stand that the Seawolves won three of four on.

She recorded three consecutive double-doubles and helped the Seawolves defeat Bryant and Princeton at the Bryant Invitational. She was named America East Player of the Week for the first time of her career because of the victory.
