This is not some high school government that has “will start selling breakfast waffles” as its major campaign promise. It is time for us, as students, to take a larger part in this community.
The Undergraduate Student Government at Stony Brook University held a candidates debate in the Student Activities Center Ballroom B Tuesday evening ahead of their elections next week.
During his visit, Gershon repeatedly stated that the bill is not a tax cut for the middle class. “If you want a middle class tax cut, let’s have a middle class tax cut. But don’t pretend that a corporate giveaway is a middle class tax cut,” he said.
