Entering 2019 season play, the Stony Brook women’s volleyball team had many reasons to be optimistic about their performance. However, a less than stellar start to head coach Kristin Belzung’s third season at the helm has raised questions about whether or not the Seawolves are capable of living up to expectations.

Volleyball clinches a share of America East title with sweep of Albany

The Seawolves sung a different song on Sunday, Nov. 4, sweeping the Great Danes to win their 13th straight game. Stony Brook was able to celebrate on enemy turf, having clinched first place in the America East regular season – the third school sport to accomplish the feat this season – and home field advantage for the postseason tournament.
