The Stony Brook women’s basketball team doesn’t need to be reminded of the expectations on their shoulders this year, because they hold themselves to a higher standard than anyone else.
The 22-17 victory differed from the team’s last two explosive wins against Delaware and Richmond, as both teams averaged under five yards per play and neither topped 300 yards from scrimmage.

The Seawolves are the last team in the Colonial Athletic Association to receive a bye week, which comes just as the team started to show signs of life in a 27-14 win against Richmond last week.
