The Stony Brook football team failed to finish its season strong, as the Seawolves fell to the Albany Great Danes 27-17 up in New York’s capital on Saturday afternoon.
Stony Brook does not have the greatest rushing offense in the conference, as the Seawolves are sitting middle of the road at seventh. Averaging 158.5 yards per game, this is not a great total.
Stony Brook won its second straight contest for the first time all season on Saturday night, topping Maine 19-7 and improving to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in CAA games.
All season long, carelessness has plagued the Seawolves. Six interceptions and seven lost fumbles have made up a large part of the reason that until the Towson game, Stony Brook had one win so far.
