On a cold, windy weekend at Joe Nathan Field, the Seawolves (5-9) stayed hot by sweeping the Lafayette Leopards in three games. Stony Brook won both halves of a doubleheader on Friday before completing the sweep with a victory on Sunday.
Despite lacing up for the first time as a Seawolf last season, Woodhouse is being asked to be a leader on and off the court for the new-look Seawolves.
The team may finally have the offense to match its defensive play, perhaps making it more dangerous than ever before, as it seeks its first trip to the NCAA Tournament.
The search for the Seawolves’ next starting point guard has extended its reach to Longwood University’s Lucas Woodhouse, who, as of earlier this month, is transferring to Stony Brook.
