Last season was an unorthodox one for the Stony Brook softball team. Though they suffered several key departures heading into the 2022 season, the Seawolves finished with their highest win total in a decade.
A career-high 13 strikeouts from pitcher Shelbi Denman carried Stony Brook softball to a season sweep against its Long Island rivals. The offense struck early and often, helping pave the way for Denman’s gem.

The Stony Brook softball team fell to the Fordham Rams in a two-game sweep on Wednesday, Mar. 16. The Seawolves now drop to a 9-7 record, the closest they have been to .500 all season long.
