The State University of New York Board of Trustees announced on Dec. 20 that Deborah F. Stanley, president of SUNY at Oswego, will act as interim chancellor in place of Jim Malatras following his resignation. 

The SUNY Student Assembly executive board called on SUNY Chancellor Jim Malatras to resign in a press release on Dec. 3 after transcripts revealed vulgar statements directed at a former aide who accused former Gov. Andrew Cuomo of sexual harassment.
