More untimely errors plagued the Stony Brook women’s volleyball team in its trip to Pennsylvania. The Seawolves competed in the Saint Francis Tournament in Pennsylvania this past weekend and once again lost two out of three matches to stay under .500.

Stony Brook baseball remains winless after being swept by No. 13 UNC

Though it played its best series of the year, the Stony Brook baseball team was swept for a third-straight week to open the 2023 season. The Seawolves (0-9) are off to their worst start in exactly 10 years. After being swept in three games by the No. 13 University of North Carolina (UNC) Tar Heels, Stony Brook has lost each of its first nine games.

Good offense, improved pitching figures to guide Stony Brook baseball in 2023

After having their 2021 season spoiled by rain, the Seawolves had their 2022 season begin with a ban from the postseason tournament. In return, they won the 2022 America East Conference (AE) regular season title for the third consecutive year and the seventh time in program history. Now in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), Stony Brook has a chance to get back to the NCAA tournament, but a much tougher route to get there.
