The Stony Brook football team comes roaring into the 2018 season hoping to build on its 2017 success, a year in which the team finished 10-3 and won a playoff game against Lehigh.
The last-second victory on a Hail Mary pass to graduate wide receiver Harrison Jackson secured the Seawolves a second-place finish in the Colonial Athletic Association.
Despite allowing the William and Mary offense to score 18 straight unanswered points late in the game on Saturday, Stony Brook Football (4-1, 3-0 CAA) hung on to a 21-18 lead to seal the team’s fourth straight victory.
“The main difference is our mental approach as a team, our mental toughness,” Priore said. “I think that’s going to be the difference in this upcoming year.”
