The Stony Brook men’s soccer team could not get it going on Friday night against the Hartford Hawks, losing a tightly contested game on Oct. 11 by a score of 1-0. The loss marks the team’s second straight loss and their third straight conference loss this season.
The six goals scored by the Seawolves are the most the team has ever produced under head coach Ryan Anatol, and their most since 1995, where the team scored 13 in a game against Old Westbury on Sept. 13.
On Sunday afternoon at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium, the Stony Brook men’s soccer team took on Hartford in a battling conference matchup that went into overtime.
After surrendering an early second-half goal, the Stony Brook men’s soccer team rallied together to beat Hartford, 3-1, at Al-Marzook Field on Wednesday night.
