The Seawolves continued their up-and-down season with a 9-2 loss on April 27 to the Stags. The game marked head coach Matt Senk’s 1500th career game coached with Stony Brook, making him one of 15 active coaches in the NCAA to reach that milestone.
The pitching was bad in just about every aspect. Any and all early-season concerns with the hitters are gone, and have been gone for a little while now. Yet, the question remains: who can head coach Matt Senk turn to?
The Stony Brook baseball team returned to Joe Nathan Field for the first time since the controversial title game last year, as the Seawolves (1-6) fell to the previously winless Sacred Heart Pioneers (1-5) 9-6.
After winning the first two games in come-from-behind fashion, the Stony Brook baseball team blew a late lead in the final game of a three-game series against the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils from Friday, March 12 to Sunday, March 14.
