SBU Hospital hosts flash mob for breast cancer awareness

The Statesman October 2, 2014
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and SBU Hospital Cancer Center and the Town of Brookhaven teamed up to "Turn the Town Pink" for the entire month. This flash mob dance was the first of many efforts to #GoPink and raise awareness to breast health, including the importance of self-exams as well as clinical exams. Various events are planned for the remainder of the month, including a "Seawolves Tackle Breast Cancer Football Game" on Saturday, October 11 at Kenneth P. LaValle stadium.
