The Stony Brook men’s lacrosse team was defeated by the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Retrievers on Thursday, May 2 by a final score of 14-8. The loss came at home at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium and in the first round of the America East Playoffs, ending the Seawolves’ season and killing their playoff hopes early.
The Stony Brook men’s lacrosse team split its recent matchups, edging out Hofstra 11-10 on Tuesday, March 26. However, the Seawolves lost to the Marist College Red Foxes by a score of 10-5 on Saturday, March 3.
Nearly a week after claiming the co-regular season title with Albany, Stony Brook Men’s Lacrosse ended its season with an 8-4 defeat to the Vermont Catamounts on Thursday afternoon at Casey Stadium in Albany.
