Stony Brook makes its return to Joe Nathan Field on Saturday, Mar. 7 for their home opener — a doubleheader against the CCSU Blue Devils. The hunt for a second straight America East championship is on all the Seawolves’ minds, and they believe they have what it takes to come out on top yet again.
Stony Brook had crawled back from a deficit to tie the game against the UMass Lowell River Hawks, and a single run would grant the Seawolves the 2019 America East regular season title.
Coming off last weekend’s series win at Binghamton, Stony Brook Baseball returned home to take on an old adversary, the Albany Great Danes, in a three-game set.

Stony Brook Baseball suffered a three-game sweep to the No. 13-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks in the final road trip to the southern United States this season, dropping their record to 3–6.
Splitting the first two games on Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23, the Seawolves dropped the finale on Sunday, Feb. 24 and walked away with a 3-3 overall record.
The Seawolves opened the tournament Wednesday, May 23 with a 2-1 victory over the Maine Black Bears, before falling to the top-seeded Hartford Hawks on Thursday, May 24.
