Affirmative action is a policy in which an individual’s color, race, sex, religion or national origin are taken into account to provide opportunities for underrepresented groups in society. We see this policy at play in many different facets of people’s lives
There are droves of commentaries as to how you should do things as a freshman, from how you should schedule your classes to how you should arrange your very own lifestyle to achieve that coveted 4.0 GPA and become the best of the best.
As much as college is a mission to obtain a degree, it is an opportunity for us to find ourselves. Nonetheless, what we often fail to take note of is that although in college we try to find ourselves, if we are lucky–or unlucky, depending upon how you see it–along the way may find someone else.
