For the second consecutive week, the Seawolves (2-4) dropped a series on the road in the state of Louisiana, this time to the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns (4-3).
In a much tighter game than the score indicated, the Stony Brook Women’s Lacrosse team fell to the Florida Gators 14-1. Coach Joe Spallina’s young team came off a strong win against Drexel to play one of the top teams in the country in Florida in front of a loud Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium crowd.
The women’s lacrosse team fought back but could not overcome the strength of No. 3 University of Florida on Wednesday. The Seawolves fell 16-9.
