For the third consecutive weekend, the Stony Brook volleyball team won two of three matches, improving its record to 6-8 at the Maryland Invitational in College Park on Friday, Sept. 17 and Saturday, Sept. 18.
In the middle of a five-game homestand, the Stony Brook volleyball team improved its record to 4-6 by winning two of three matches in the Stony Brook Invitational on Friday, Sept. 10 and Saturday, Sept. 11 at Pritchard Gymnasium.

Two years ago, the Stony Brook volleyball team traveled to the New York state capital as an underdog No. 4 seed to face the No. 1-seeded Albany Great Danes in the semifinals of the America East playoffs.
