The opening match of the America East championship tournament was a five-set thriller, but the Stony Brook volleyball team’s season came to a heartbreaking end against the hosting UMBC Retrievers on Friday, Nov. 19.
Senior Day was spoiled as the Stony Brook volleyball team fell two spots in the America East standings after losing in straight sets to the first-place UMBC Retrievers on Friday, Nov. 12 at Pritchard Gymnasium.
Now on a three-game win streak, the Stony Brook volleyball team moved to 10-10 (4-2 AE) with wins against the NJIT Highlanders and Binghamton Bearcats at Pritchard Gymnasium on Friday, Oct. 15 and Sunday, Oct. 17.
