On Tuesday afternoon, the Stony Brook Women’s Lacrosse team sailed by the Delaware Blue Hens by a score of 8-4, extending SBU’s winning streak to 11 games.
For the second consecutive year, the Seawolves are ranked in the Brine Media Preseason Poll. They are coming off their best season in school history, where they finished 17-3 and won their first America East title.
Seniors Demmianne Cook and Janine Hillier once again led the way for No. 19/20 Stony Brook, as the women’s lacrosse team won convincingly on the road against Central Connecticut by the score of 19-3.
