Stony Brook Athletics trying to boost fanbase with new app

Trying to bring fans back into the stands, Stony Brook Athletics has developed and launched a new app to help better connect themselves with almost 27,000 students. The app was launched during the second week of the semester on Monday, Aug. 29.

Stony Brook eliminated after giving up late semifinal lead to Hartford

The same old demons that haunted the Seawolves all year dealt one final blow as No. 2-seeded Stony Brook (20-13) watched its season end in heartbreaking fashion with a 64-58 loss to the No. 3-seeded Hartford Hawks (18-15) on Tuesday, March 10, at Island Federal Arena in the America East semifinals.
