The Stony Brook baseball team has gone consecutive weeks without a series win after splitting a four-game series against Binghamton Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2. Still, there was more to like about the Seawolves’ performance this weekend.
For the first time this season, Stony Brook’s baseball team lost a series against an America East opponent. The Seawolves were swept at home and split a road doubleheader against the NJIT Highlanders on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25.
Stony Brook’s baseball team is no longer undefeated against America East opponents. The Seawolves blew an early lead against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks on Saturday, April 10, but still won three out of four games in the series.
