The Seawolves (5-4, 2-0 CAA) made their way down to New Jersey on Saturday afternoon for a matchup with the Monmouth Hawks. After falling behind early, Stony Brook rallied in the second half to earn a hard-fought 15-12 win.
In the men’s lacrosse non-conference season finale on Wednesday, the Stony Brook Seawolves turned in their best offensive performance of the season with three different hat tricks against the St. John’s Red Storm.
Though attackman Jonathan Huber sent the game into overtime with a wild buzzer-beater, the Stony Brook men’s lacrosse team’s fortunes did not carry into the extra period.
