The Stony Brook men’s and women’s cross country teams both came in second place at the America East Championships on Saturday, Oct. 27 in New Hampshire.
The last time Stony Brook was in the IC4A Championships was in 2015, where the team placed fourth in team standings, marking this year’s 15th place performance a regression.
Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams had top 15 performances in standings in the CCSU Mini Meet, including a fifth-place performance by the men’s team.
Head coach Andrew Ronan’s team outperformed its competitors Columbia, La Salle and Providence in both the men’s and women’s field during the Stony Brook Quad Meet.
The Stony Brook Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track teams opened up the calendar year with a combined 15 first-place finishes at the Sean Atkinson Invite at Fordham University.
